What a Payoneer business account can be used for

  • Receive payments from overseas clients. You open the account in one currency. After approval, you can add further currency receiving accounts yourself, at no extra cost.
  • Request payment by card or bank transfer. Clients can pay through Payoneer payment requests.
  • Pay suppliers and contractors in other countries.
  • Pay salaries and director fees from the company account.
  • Withdraw funds to the company’s or a director’s local bank account.

The account is for business-to-business receipts and payments. Deposits from directors are accepted. Payments from other individuals are not.

Why open one alongside your incorporation

A new company often needs to invoice clients, pay suppliers and run payroll in its first weeks. Preparing the Payoneer application together with your incorporation documents means one set of KYC paperwork and an account that can be in place soon after the company is registered. You can open a traditional corporate bank account in parallel.
